Dr. John, Turtle Clan, (Doctorate of Philosophy in Social Science, Syracuse University) is from the Allegany Territory and a member of the Seneca Nation. He currently publishes Seneca History and Culture books and publishes others authors Seneca works through RAJ Publications, is a former Director of the Seneca Nation Language Program, Curator of the Seneca-Iroquois National Museum, Assistant to the President of the Seneca Nation of Indians, Director of the Seneca Nation Area Office for the Aging, and a Retired Sociology Professor from St. Bonaventure University.
